Martian Worlds

A world of wonder and creativity.

About the Game

The year is 2061, the time everything changed. The advent of Halley's Comet had excited many people in the science community, as usual, but then the signal appeared. The strange thing about the signal is where it was coming from: Earth. Somewhere deep underground was the source of a signal pattern that became an even bigger event than the comet. Upon further investigation, special aerial scanning locates the source of the signal deep under ground below a large series of caverns and caves.

By this time the military has perfected the exoskeleton suits, which is capable of allowing anyone to survive in the most extreme conditions. It is based on a very primitive, yet effective, nano technology that can also protect the wearer from external physical harm within certain pressures. In the interest of scientific exploration, you are the one chosen for the mission - to explore the caverns, locate, and retrieve the source of the signal, if possible.

Eventually you find the source of the signal: A kind of mechanical arm device with what looks like a hand piece. Curiosity gets the better of you and you try it on. The device quickly lights up and cannot be removed from your suit arm. Little do you realize that the activation of the device has triggered the awakening of dormant alien androids that were the cause of their creators extinction.

Whats the Deal?

These are the main aspects of the game:
  • Explore different planets in different solar systems.
  • Locate and find alien tech and object patterns (blue-prints) that allow the creation of objects from energy ("out of thin air").
  • Combine some patterns to create new patterns.
  • Use created objects to fight alien forces.
  • Explore the planet terrain itself and discover new plants and animals.
  • Solo player focus, with ability to cross parallel universes to visit other players.
